Highspire Reservoir Park Trail is a gentle, family-friendly out-and-back path located in Highspire, Pennsylvania. Open year-round, the trail offers a unique experience in every season, showcasing a variety of birds, reptiles, and mammals. In the spring, visitors can often spot large snapping turtles basking in the sun near the water. The trail can be accessed from either end, with city parks located at both the east and west entrances. 

Accessibility features include one unlined accessible space in the gravel lot off White House Lane (east end), which is not van-accessible, and two van-accessible spaces with striped aisles in the paved lot off Catherine Street (west end). The trail surface is a mix of gravel and wooden boardwalk, both equipped with edge barriers or railings. It is typically at least five feet wide and mostly flat, with a grade of 1% or less, making it navigable for most wheelchairs, mobility devices, and strollers. 

This serene trail winds through wooded landscapes and around a scenic reservoir, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful walk. Suitable for all skill levels, Highspire Reservoir Park Trail offers a quiet escape into nature just minutes from town—truly a hidden gem for both locals and visitors.

The main parking for the Highspire Reservoir trail is located off White House Lane, the address for the park is 249 White House Lane, Highspire, PA. Once on White House Lane, you will find the gravel parking lot at the east end of the trail. Parking and trail access is also available at Highspire Memorial Park.
