Description
The Lock Haven Levee Trail, also known as the William Clinger Riverwalk, is a paved walkway located on the levee that provides a buffer between the Susquehanna Greenway River Town of Lock Haven and the West Branch Susquehanna River. The 2.25-mile scenic river walk is well lit and can be enjoyed as a jogging trail from Lock Haven University to the Piper Memorial Airport or taken as a slow stroll enjoying the natural beauty of the Pennsylvania Wilds.
The trail also runs right past the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheater and Floating Stage. In the summer months, the Lock Haven Summer Concert Series can be watched right from the trail and amphitheater. Some boaters even anchor down and watch front row from the Susquehanna River.
