Description
The Bloomsburg Rail Trail is an out and back loop that follows an old railroad bed along the scenic Fishing Creek. This roughly three-mile trail runs along the former rail bed on the northwest side of town and takes visitors through the wooded creekside watershed. Following the east bank of Fishing Creek, the trail stretches between Millville Road just south of I-80 and Railroad Street near where the road crosses the river. The trail is perfect for a variety of users, including cyclists, dog-walkers, hikers, or those looking to explore the river town of Bloomsburg after a paddle on the North Branch Susquehanna River Water Trail.
Parking and Trail Access
Parking is available at a lot mid-trail near the intersection of Millville Road and Irondale Road.
