Enter the Susquehanna Greenway Art Contest
What do you love most about the Susquehanna River? Is it the wildlife you see along its shores? The opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, boating? We can all agree the Susquehanna River boasts endless opportunities for everyone—whether you are a birdwatcher, paddler, or sightseer, there is something for all to enjoy.
The 2024 Susquehanna Greenway Expo Art Contest invites members of the public to design a piece of art, following the prompt “What do you love most about the Susquehanna River?” The winner of the art contest will get their design placed on a water bottle, along with their artwork featured on a sticker. Need more incentive to enter? Winners will also receive:
- $100 cash prize
- 5 water bottles
- and 10 stickers to share with friends and family!
Entering is quick and easy! To enter, click the button below, fill out the form, agree to the Contest Rules, and upload your artwork. A separate entry form must be completed for each submission. Don’t forget to include your story along with your art. Your stories help to bring the artwork to life!

Quick Facts
- Art dimensions should not exceed 5 inches in height, and 8 inches in width in order to fit on the water bottle.
- Colors should try to match the SGP color palette (greens, blues, yellows – vibrant, but natural)
- Entries should be high quality (at least 3.5 MB is preferred).
*All copyrights remain with the artist. SGP will retain a limited license for the purposes of the contest.*

How many art pieces can I submit?
Each contestant can submit as many pieces as they want. A separate entry form must be completed for each submission.
How will I submit my artwork if it is not originally a digital piece?
Any handcrafted art piece can be scanned into your device and submitted digitally.
What is the difference between handcrafted and digital art?
Handcrafted art would count as a physical piece of art (a painting, drawing, etc.). A digital art piece would involve graphic design on a device.
Can I use AI?
No use of Artificial Intelligence is permitted within any submission; all work must be entirely created by the artist.
What is the prize?
The winner of the art contest will get their design placed on a water bottle, along with their artwork featured on a sticker. Winners will also receive a $100 cash prize, 5 water bottles, and 10 stickers to share with friends and family.
When is the deadline?
The art contest will open at 8:00 A.M. EST on March 18, 2024, and will close at 5:00 P.M. EST on June 21, 2024.

Art should not exceed 5 inches in height, and 8 inches in width in order to fit on the water bottle.
