Introducing new categories!
The Susquehanna Greenway Photo Contest invites photographers to embrace our region through four dynamic categories: Wild & Free, River from Above, Hidden Details, and Greenway in Motion. Each image should capture a unique aspect of life along the Susquehanna, showcasing the adventures, connections, and natural beauty that make this landscape so special.
Contest opens May 1, 2026. Deadline for Submissions is July 31, 2026.
Cash Prizes will be awarded in each Category: 1st Place $150 / 2nd Place $100 / 3rd Place $50. Plus a Grand Prize Winner from the 1st Place selections will be awarded an additional $50. Winning images will also be printed, framed and added to a traveling gallery that exhibits along the Susquehanna Greenway for the following year.
Entering is quick and easy! To enter, click the button below, fill out the form, select your category, agree to the Contest Rules, and upload your photo. A separate entry form must be completed for each photo submission. Don’t forget to include your story along with your picture. Your stories help to bring the photo to life!

Celebrate the untamed side of the Susquehanna Greenway. This category features animals in their natural habitats—whether soaring, swimming, grazing, or hiding in plain sight.

Show us the Susquehanna from a new perspective. This category highlights aerial photography, scenic overlooks, and wide landscape views that capture the river’s scale and beauty.

Hidden Details
(Macro, plants, bugs, unique perspectives)
Focus on the small wonders of the Greenway. From intricate plant life and insects to abstract natural textures, this category reveals the beauty found up close.
