Grand Prize and 1st Place Winner: Mark Boyd

Category: Landscape
Location: Holtwood, PA
Story Behind the Shot:“I arrived at the overlook a bit early to scope out some different compositions and just enjoy the view, as I walked around I noticed the sun in between the tree limbs. I waited for the sun to get lower and took the shots as the sun rested in the v of the tree and the horizon at the same time while also getting a view of the river.”

2nd Place Winner: Mark Boyd

Category: Landscape
Location: Holtwood, PA
Story Behind the Shot: “It was mid-October and the fall foliage was just beginning to look good. I hiked down to the river just below the Holtwood dam was amazed at how calm the water was and the sunlight was touching the hills on the far side lighting up the fall color. I’ve never seen it quite like this before and I was glad I was there to capture it.”

3rd Place Winner: Baxter Wareham

Category: Landscape
Location: Fort Hunter, PA

1st Place Winner: Edward Boardman

Category: River Towns
Location: Towanda, PA
Story Behind the Shot: “Cars travel past the C&N Bank and Towanda Terrace on Main Street in Towanda.”

2nd Place Winner: Rita Kurtz

Category: River Towns
Location: Selinsgrove, PA
Story Behind the Shot: “This house is located near the Selinsgrove Library. When the owner was asked why she put a face on the building, she said “why not”. She thought since there is a lot of traffic using the alley, due to the Library being near by, she could make people smile. The interesting thing about the house is, as you walk or drive by, it appears like the eyes are following you. When you see it at night the eyes are lighted.”

3rd Place Winner: Tedd Wenrick

Category: River Towns
Location: Selinsgrove, PA
Story Behind the Shot: “Photo taken of downtown Selinsgrove after an early snow storm in November.”

1st Place Winner: Christin Campbell

Category: Susquehanna Adventures
Location: Fort Hunter, PA
Story Behind the Shot: “My husband and I went for a walk along the rail trail with our cameras around sunset. We picked the right time to go because after taking a few pictures here and there a train started to come across the bridge! We have never seen one cross that bridge before. The sky was perfect and the water was moving great, the picture just turned out awesome! My husband’s grandfather loves trains, so it was a perfect gift for him at Christmas time!”

2nd Place Winner: Barry Truesdell
