1st Place Winner: David Frasier

Category: Landscape
Location: Marysville, PA
Story Behind the Shot: David captured this shot of the historic Rockville Bridge and Susquehanna River on an early-morning exploration in Marysville when the soft, summertime light was just right.

2nd Place Winner: Jeff Stover

Category: Landscape
Location: Lock Haven, PA
Story Behind the Shot: Jeff captured this image during a routine hike with his son on Bald Eagle Mountain near Lock Haven. “We love this stretch of local trail and hike it often. We were having such strange weather on this day, as it had rained at the lower elevations and snowed on the mountain. Just as my son was about to move into the snow, I captured this photo of one of my favorite trails.”

3rd Place Winner: Patrick Greenabaum

Category: Landscape
Location: Lycoming Creek
Story Behind the Shot: Patrick often crosses Lycoming Creek near Williamsport and thought to revisit this view right after snowfall. “I used to play around down here as a kid, so this creek and the river have always been in my life.”

1st Place Winner: Josh Klina

Category: River Towns
Location: Riverside, PA
Story Behind the Shot: “The community of Riverside is a small, hidden gem along the Susquehanna. On this fall day, I was about to take the dogs for a walk and noticed how the leaves were at their peak and just popped against the
garage.”

2nd Place Winner: Beverly James

Category: River Towns
Location: Tunkhannock, PA
Story Behind the Shot: “The river town of Tunkhannock becomes a patchwork of color each October during the Airing of the Quilts event. It’s a grand affair! The entire town celebrates with live demonstrations and quilt displays. This river town has really been revitalized and is a joy to visit.”

3rd Place Winner: Toni Viola

Category: River Towns
Location: Lock Haven, PA
Story Behind the Shot: “I love living and working in Lock Haven because it is such a friendly town. It’s the type of place where everyone still says hello when you walk down the street, and there is always something to see or do down by the river or in the surrounding state parks.”

1st Place Winner: Carissa Phillips

Age: 17
Category: Youth
Location: Susquehanna County
Story Behind the Shot: “It was Thanksgiving morning and I was exploring around a friend’s barn while my Dad and my brother were working on their treestands. I was looking around for an owl to photograph when the windows caught my eye and I thought they looked cool and I realized that I never noticed them before. I remember that day vividly because it was absolutely gorgeous and nature provided many colorful shades of green, browns and yellows. This is a special place to me because I’ve been going there since I was born to hike, sleigh ride, look for wildlife and visit with family and friends.”

2nd Place Winner: Izaiah Calpin

Age: 14
Category: Youth
Location: Buttermilk Falls
Story Behind the Shot: “I treasure the hidden beauty of Buttermilk Falls in the small river town of Falls, PA.”

Story Behind the Shot: Sabrina lives close to the Susquehanna River Walk, a six-mile greenway trail along the levee system in Williamsport and South Williamsport. “My friends and I go down to the trail a lot. It’s a nice place to walk and get outside. It’s a place I go to think. I was walking there when I took this shot. It was one of those perfect evenings that smelled of summer.”
