Description

Looking out on the stunning Endless Mountains, Tunkhannock Riverside Park is situated on the banks of the Susquehanna River. With a children’s playground, a boat launch, and plenty of benches and picnic tables, it’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon kayaking, picnicking, or simply watching the river pass by.

Tunkhannock Riverside Park is also the site of Tunkhannock’s annual “Celebrate Our River Day” along with a variety of other events.

Parking and Trail Access

Heading West on US-6, turn left onto Bridge Street and take the first right after the intersection. Heading North on PA-29, continue straight across the Susquehanna River and take the first left after the bridge.
