Falls (Wyoming County)

Falls Township is located within the Endless Mountains Heritage Region and features two notable water features – the North Branch Susquehanna River Water Trail and Buttermilk Creek. The small village of Falls within the township is named after the impressive waterfalls along Buttermilk Creek that empty into the Susquehanna. The series of waterfalls are listed as an Outstanding Scenic Geological Feature by the Pennsylvania Geological Survey. Falls Township serves as a gateway to the Endless Mountains and to the rolling hills of farmland and forest that extend to the East, West and North.
