Exeter Township (Wyoming County)

Exeter Township runs right along the North Branch Susquehanna River Water Trail and is located within the Endless Mountains Heritage Region. Exeter Township symbolizes the beautiful open landscapes that surround the North Branch water trail and offers a quiet rest stop for those paddling the river, with a boat access in the small town of West Falls. According to Wyoming County Historical Society in 1779 after the historic battle of Sullivan’s Trail the homesteaders from New England settled in the Wyoming Valley. The Susquehanna River was the lifeblood of the early settlers, and has become a destination point today for people across the country.
