1st Place & Grand Prize - Mark Boyd

Holtwood, PA

"I arrived at the overlook a bit early to scope out some different compositions and just enjoy the view, as I walked around I noticed the sun in between the tree limbs. I waited for the sun to get lower and took the shots as the sun rested in the v of the tree and the horizon at the same time while also getting a view of the river."

2nd Place - Mark Boyd

Holtwood, PA

"It was mid-October and the fall foliage was just beginning to look good. I hiked down to the river just below the Holtwood dam was amazed at how calm the water was and the sunlight was touching the hills on the far side lighting up the fall color. I've never seen it quite like this before and I was glad I was there to capture it."

3rd Place - Baxter Wareham

2nd Place - Rita Kurtz

Selinsgrove, PA

"This house is located near the Selinsgrove Library. When the owner was asked why she put a face on the building, she said "why not". She thought since there is a lot of traffic using the alley, due to the Library being near by, she could make people smile. The interesting thing about the house is, as you walk or drive by, it appears like the eyes are following you. When you see it at night the eyes are lighted."

3rd Place - Tedd Wenrick

Selinsgrove, PA

"My husband and I went for a walk along the rail trail with our cameras around sunset. We picked the right time to go because after taking a few pictures here and there a train started to come across the bridge! We have never seen one cross that bridge before. The sky was perfect and the water was moving great, the picture just turned out awesome! My husband's grandfather loves trains, so it was a perfect gift for him at Christmas time!"

2nd Place - Barry Truesdell

"I Live near Columbia Crossing and its beautiful Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge. Sunsets are amazing here and the locals spend many summer nights taking beautiful pics!"

"I was driving home from shooting a wedding rehearsal when the sky started lighting up. I marveled at all the colors firing up in the sky as I drove along 11/15 route. I was wondering what the river looked like so I pulled over at the Montgomery Ferry landing. I found this man enjoying the sunset while he was fishing. I love silhouette shots, and the sun was the perfect backdrop."
