Join us on June 17th, 2017 as we discover Jersey Shore by land and sea. Pedal/Paddle Jersey Shore is a one-day celebration connecting you to the outdoor opportunities along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River.
During the morning, enjoy a guided bike ride along the beautiful Pine Creek Rail Trail, named top 10 best biking destinations in the world by USA Today. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Whitetail access area and hear a presentation about the history of the Pine Creek valley. In the afternoon, you will set off paddling on the cool waters of Pine Creek before flowing into the West Branch of the Susquehanna River.
Tickets: $30/ adult and $20/youth (12 and under)
Each ticket includes: a t-shirt, snacks, lunch, educational presentations, guided bike tour, and guided kayaking trip.
Don't have your own boat? Not a problem! Boats are available for rent for just $25.00
Check-in opens at the Jersey Shore Borough Recreation Area. If you are bringing your own boat, you will be asked to drop them off at the Pine Creek Put-in location.
10:00 AM: Opening Ceremony and bike safety talk
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Participants will bike along Pine Creek from Jersey Shore to the Whitetail Access Area.
12:00 PM- 1:00 PM: Lunch - provided with registration
1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Kayak Safety talk and launch
1:30 – 5:00 PM: Participants launch on Pine Creek.
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Complimentary boat and person shuttle back to parking area from boat take-out.
