Description

Enjoy a quick jaunt to this unique York County waterfall. In all the walk is only about 5 minutes from the parking area, but visitors will be rewarded with a beautiful 25-foot waterfall.

From the parking area, walk across the road to the unmarked trail head. The falls are about a 5 minute walk from the road.

Be sure to also visit Lock 12, which is also located on River Road.

For a bit of a hike, you can also hop on the blue-blazed Mason-Dixon Trail & complete a 2-mile loop with some climbs and views of the Susquehanna River.


Parking and Trail Access

From the intersection of PA Routes 74 and 372, drive 2.2 miles east on PA 372. Just before the Norman Woods Bridge turn left onto River Rd. Proceed roughly one mile; keep an eye out for an unmarked parking area on your right, just after you cross a bridge you. The Trailhead is unmarked, but obvious, and located across from the small parking area.
