The Susquehanna Gateway Heritage Area has an opening for a Development & Communications Coordinator.
Under the direction of the Vice President, and in close collaboration with the President and the Board Development Committee Chair, the Development and Communications Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the Susquehanna Gateway Heritage Area's communications and fundraising efforts, including research, strategy, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship and special events.
The Development and Communications Coordinator will lead, coordinate, and implement development and strategic communication efforts for the Susquehanna Gateway Heritage Area. Responsibilities will include donor identification, cultivation, and solicitation (major gifts, foundation, corporate, government, planned giving);grant writing and grant administration; and external communications using website and social media tools. The Development and Communications Coordinator is responsible for successful promotions of events, outreach programs and organizational communications.
