Danville, Learn about PA's Conservation Heritage

Friday, March 10, 2017 - 7:00pm

Location: Montour Preserve  700 Preserve Rd, Danville, PA 17821

This winter join Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy, The Pennsylvania Forestry Association, and the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF) to learn more about Ralph Abele, Mira Lloyd Dock, Maurice Goddard, and Gifford Pinchot. All four Pennsylvanians are recognized as leaders in PA and nationally in the conservation movement.

PPFF is allowing the conservancy to borrow the documentaries for a series of free showings. To learn more about these conservation leaders you can visit the Pennsylvania Conservation Heritage website. The documentaries about Abele, Dock, and Pinchot are 30 minutes long, while Goddard is covered in a 60 minute documentary.

Each date will show some combination of documentaries, but not all the documentaries. As decisions are made about what will be shown when, this page will be updated.
